Pinot Blanc

Pinot blanc is a white wine grape and a point genetic mutation of pinot noir. In Austria it is known a Weissburgunder and is either dry or sweet, in Italy and Spain its name is pinot bianco and in France it is known as pinot blanc.
Confusingly pinot blanc from Alsace does not necessarily have juice from the pinot blanc grape, but can be made from any white grape in the pinot family.
