Champagne Chapuy "Carte Noir" Tradition Brut
Champagne from Oger, Grand Cru classified town in Cote des Blancs. Vines grow on steep slopes, soils less chalky with more clay giving more round, rich wine. Varietals fermented separately in SS with ML partially stopped, until bottling/secondary fermentation. Base wine 2017 with 49% Reserve wines. Dosage 6 g/l.
51% Pinot Meunier & Pinot Noir 49 % Chardonnay
A straw yellow color, supported by a fine and persistent foam.
A nose both fresh and fruity, where gourmand notes of yellow fruit are expressed (vine peach, Mirabelle-plum).
A fresh and delicate attack on the palate, we find the gourmand notes previously perceived on the nose. The tasting of this wine ends with purity and minerality.
