Easkoot is named after the first Land Surveyor of Marin and what is now a creek running past Stinson Beach in West Marin. This is where the fruit hails from, cool climate, fog every afternoon beautiful rolling vineyard hillsides. There is a distinct note of forest floor every year, and the wine has brilliant acidity and fruit. An excellent example of pure native yeast Pinot Noir unmarred by manipulation or oak (10% new).
