A field Blend from within the city limits of Vienna. 6 grapes (Gruner Veltliner, Riesling, Grauburgunder, Weissburgunder, Chardonnay and Traminer), harvested in one day and fermented together. All Stainless. Bright, elegant, mineral based. Certified Demeter biodynamic.
This wine is harvested from our most urban single vineyards Ried Preussen and Ried Weissleiten not shown on the label. It is located on the famous Nussberg hill of Vienna at 330 meters above sea level. The soil profile in this area features so called Flysch â€” sandstone on top with limestone bedrock. After 24 hours of cool (12Â°C) maceration, the juice is pressed and allowed to ferment naturally with only native yeasts in stainless steel tank. Before bottling, the wine is aged for 8 months on its fine lees without batonnage.
A very versatile fruity but dry wine perfect for food!
