We have been looking for another classic Austrian producer to add to our portfolio, someone who fits our ethos of clean farming and correct, pure, mineral driven wines. Meet Philipp Brundlmayer, the new generation of his family estate in the Kremstal. His is a story of a passionate and compelling young winemaker, the culmination of the hard work of the generations that came before him.

In 2015 Philipp took charge of the family winery and began to expand upon the idea of excellent terroir and to focus on clean farming, cover crops, hand working the vineyards and a meticulous cellar. Stainless steel tanks now sit next to old foudre and every aspect of the winemaking process is thoughtful and precise. This fabulous estate is in the process of certifying organic but are methodical in this approach as well, waiting until they can certify the entirety of their holdings at one time. The Loessterrassen is a dry spicy GV grown in the rich loess soils of the Kremstal. From a mix of their highly sought after vineyard sites. hand harvested, cover crops, no herbicides, or pesticides. Clean, vibrant, delicious.
