Alessandro Bortolin
Since the 1500s their family has farmed this small plot of land and they continue with the same thoughtful dedication to supporting this unique terroir, deemed a UNESCO heritage site for its distinct natural and cultural landscape.
Situated on steep hills comprised of glacial and marine sediments and located midway between the Alps and the Venetian lagoon, Valdobbiadene benefits from both warm sunny days and the cooling breezes from both the Dolomites and the ocean.
Alessandro Bortolin does all the work by hand in both the vineyard and the cellar, espousing a gentle and traditional approach while creating elegant and pure renditions of Prosecco.
