A delicious vibrant rose comprised of 50% Chenin Blanc, 25% Pineau D'Aunis, and 25% Grolleau. It is an intentional rose meaning the grapes are pressed, nothing is added, no intervention in the cellar and no addition of sulphur. The wine is not filtered and is bottled directly. It is completely alive and in that way will occasionally develop a slight touch of effervescence which only adds to its evident drinkability. A true quaffable Vin de France! The Deboutbertins hand farm these tiny vineyards of 45 year old vines. No machinery is ever used as they are plowed by horse and harvested by hand. Meticulous grape selection, slow vertical pressing, native yeast, and always moved by gravity. Natural winemaking at its best. No added sulfur. Organic.
