Gruner Veltlilner from the Edelgraben vineyard in the village of Breitenbrunn. Lichtenberger-Gonzalez wines try to highlight terroir rather than superficial primary fruit notes and will as a result often not pass the taste tests for typicity that are a prerequisite for quality wine and for naming the origin. As a result, this wine was named Edel Brunn to show its origin from Edelgraben and Breitenbrunn. Partly whole cluster press partly left on the skins for a day, the parts fermented together spontaneously in large used oak where the wine rests on its full lees for a year.
