From an ancient vineyard on the north facing slopes of the Leithaberg Mountains. A mixed field blend of both red and white grapes that were interplanted. It is known for sure that there are Blaufrankisch, Gruner Veltliner and Zweigelt in significant amounts but of the remaining grapes not all of the varieties have even been identified. Hand picked of course and made in Martin and Ariana's non-interventionist style with native yeasts and a nurturing patience in the cellar as they wait for the perfect time to release their wines. It shows the best of both a light drinking red wine with juicy berry notes, earthy forest floor nuances and gentle tannins and the long vibrant acidity and refreshment of a white wine. Perfect lightly chilled.
