A wonderful illustration of the varied expressions of the indigenous grape of Burgenland in varied soils. From the 2011 vintage, aged for 3 years in used Austrian barrels and then further aged in bottle at his partnership winery Jagini with Hannes Schuster. We are so excited to receive this cellar release. Vibrant red fruits bely its time in the bottle, pencil lead, plum skin, cherry pith, tons of minerality and lengthy tannins.
