The Neumayer wines show an unmistakable character that is mineral-driven, high-strung, and leaning towards younger bright and yellow fruit notes. The Ludwig, which used to be called Engelberg but had to be rechristened to comply with new rules in the Traisental, comes from the 2 terraced vyds of Seiberg and Engelgarten and is the perfect example of this style. It's meant to be drunk in its youth but can handle quite a few years of bottle age well.
