The Balance glass integrates, harmonizes, and (yes) balances wines without distorting their true character traits such as terroir and fruit.

Created for wines that derive their structure from phenolics, tannins, long lees ageing or deliberate use of wood. Recommended for: wood-accentuated Chardonnay, Jura wines, mash-fermented white wines, whole-grape- fermented red wines, wines with a maceration component, as well as complex sparkling wines with long lees ageing and oxidative elements. It is also recommended for wines from the natural wine movement, and is the official glass of the Karakterre wine show for which we proudly supply the glasses.

Technical perfection is the basic principle of the Zalto Glass Manufactury. Zalto Glasses have always been produced following a tradition of using only the most highly skilled glass-blowers working with a selection of the best raw materials. The curve of the bowls are tilted at the angles of 24, 48 and 72 degrees, which are in accordance to the tilt angles of the Earth.
