Easkoot Cellars sources the grapes for its Grüner from Nate Belden's Steiner Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain — hand-harvested grapes from terraces that sit above the basalt-veined lower blocks, ripening earlier and expressing something distinctly lifted. Whole-cluster pressed, spontaneously fermented, and aged in Mueller steel, it stays honest and precise: lean, mineral, with the taut energy you'd hope for from a thousand feet of elevation. Minimal SO2, nothing added to fill gaps. This is Gruner that earns its keep at the table.
