Jagini Blaufrankisch 2011
A collaboration between Hannes Schuster and Roland Velich from Moric. The grapes come from selected Zagersdorf old vines in Neusiedlersee-Hugelland. Minimalist winemaking.
Characteristic aromas and flavors of bing cherry and summertime plum skin combined with fine minerality and soft tannins. Immense concentration and complexity without giving up even an inch on elegance and freshness: those are the hallmarks of Jagini, and the 2011 is one of its best examples. Drink this wine now or hold. Extremely age worthy.
