Cuttings sourced from Huet and Clos Naudin — a different take on that wonderful lineage. Thomas and Marie-Lise farm this younger Anjou plot biodynamically, and what sets Montbenault apart is its rhyolite: rare volcanic soil threaded with silica and quartz, unlike anything else in the appellation. Native yeasts, stainless fermentation, used 500L barrels, malolactic encouraged, minimal sulphur only at bottling. At 10.7%, it's light yet complex — yellow fruit, elderflower, spice — and with air and time, layers of complexity unfold.
