Pierre Menard's Les Mailles Jeanne takes its name from the family's Clos de Mailles lieu-dit in Anjou, where old-vine Chenin Blanc grows on schist. Farmed biodynamically, vinified with minimal intervention in neutral barrels, and fermented slowly — often into spring — this is dry Chenin as quiet argument: textural and grounded, with citrus peel, stone dust, and a cool mineral pull.
