Pierre Ménard grew up farming Anjou with his family before striking out on his own — biodynamically, with old vines and a quiet conviction. This Cabernet Franc, his Orion Sigma bottling hails from two plots: one with younger vines, and the other at the lower part of the slopes of Clos des Mailles. Maceration for about three weeks, spontaneous fermentation in barrels. No fining or filtration. Biodynamic.no new oak. Taut red cherry, iron, savory and vibrant.
